Reliving Our Heritage is a living historical timeline that takes place the first full weekend in August in Boscobel.  Reliving Our Heritage honors our veterans from 1700 to present day.  Come see re-enactors portray their time periods, hear the sounds of cannons and muskets, smell the smoke and interact with history.

 

Morel Mushroom Festival – Muscoda

In 1982, Muscoda acquired the title of “Wisconsin’s Morel Capital.” The Morel Mushroom Festival is held annually the weekend following Mother’s Day with activities for the whole family.

 

Boscobel’s Farmers Market

Every Saturday morning from mid-May through mid-October (ends 10/15), you’ll find a wonderful Farmers Market in Depot Park in downtown Boscobel. The market takes place right next to the historic Depot Museum (open every Saturday from 8am-2pm). Local growers and craftspeople provide an abundance of colorful goods and produce for you to savor.

The MWGRR is a 18 year old event, started by Don “BlckChrome” Soland and Don “D2” Diehls in the small city of Boscobel, WI. Bikers from all over the world like to gather at this one spot on Father’s Day weekend to catch up with their old friends and meet new friends. This event is open to everyone and their families. Included is an outside meet on Thursday afternoon at Snick’s Fin and Feather bar, a picnic style dinner on Saturday night and a lot of great riding and fireside camaraderie in between.

 

Boscobel’s 4th of July Celebration and Firecracker Run

Boscobel hosts the area’s largest 4th of July celebration, with a parade, the Firecracker Fun Run, a beautiful fireworks display synchronized to music, and a range of other activities.

 

Autumn-Fest Weekend – Blue River

Autumn-Fest Weekend during the third weekend of August. Some of the activities to enjoy are ballgames, 5K Run, Tractor pulls, horseshoe pitching, euchre tournaments, chicken BBQ and a wonderful parade on Sunday. A great place to reunite with old friends or make new ones.

Boscobel Airport Commission schedules this event on the Sunday of the last full weekend in September from 8:00 a.m. until noon. It is not unusual to have planes fly in from Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and the far corners of Wisconsin. Planes start arriving at the airport about 8:00 a.m. A large variety of aircraft will be on display on the field and local owners open their hangars for visitors to view facilities and aircraft. There is no charge to visit the airport and view the aircraft. Breakfast is served rain or shine; handicap parking is available. Airplane rides will be available for a nominal fee.
